The mini-camper is already the cheapest motorised camper to rent: €45 to €90 per day depending on the season. But between a last-minute July booking and an optimised one, the gap easily reaches 40%. Here are the five levers that actually work.
1. Shift by one season
A mini-camper listed at €85 per day in August often drops to €50-60 in June or September, and below €50 from October to April. These small vehicles heat up fast and drive well in winter: off-season rental suits them perfectly.
2. Look at private owners

A teaser price of €45 per day with 100 km included and €0.25/km beyond quickly becomes more expensive than a €60 offer with unlimited mileage. 5. Start from a secondary city
Depots in major hubs carry the tightest prices. For identical dates, starting from Nantes rather than Paris, or from Toulouse rather than Barcelona, often saves 10 to 20% — and sometimes puts you closer to your route anyway.
