The Sea-to-Sky Highway (BC-99) climbs the Howe Sound fjord to Squamish and then Whistler in two hours, extended by the Duffey Lake Road towards Lillooet. After the Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen ferry, Highway 4 crosses Vancouver Island to Tofino, and the Trans-Canada follows the Fraser Canyon inland.
Where to go by RV around Vancouver
Squamish and the Stawamus Chief are an hour away, Whistler two hours. The turquoise Joffre Lakes, at two and a half hours, require a free day-use pass in season. Harrison Hot Springs takes ninety minutes, and Vancouver Island opens up beyond the BC Ferries crossings.
