What Goboony does well
Founded in the Netherlands in 2015, Goboony is Europe’s other major peer-to-peer motorhome rental platform. Its geographic strength mirrors Yescapa’s: remarkable density in the Benelux and the United Kingdom, backed by a genuine presence in France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Listings are detailed, owners are rated, and insurance and breakdown assistance are included in the rental price through its partners. Since 2023, Goboony and Yescapa have belonged to the same group, formed to create Europe’s largest peer-to-peer network, but the two brands and their catalogues remain separate.
Its limits
In southern Europe the choice is thinner than at its Bordeaux twin: for a departure from Spain or Portugal, compare without fail. The usual peer-to-peer rules apply: service fees added at checkout, deposits set by each owner, mileage often capped, vehicle quality and age varying listing by listing. Handover depends on the owner’s schedule — plan ahead if you land by plane.
Who it suits best
Departures from the Netherlands, Belgium or the UK, families travelling with a dog, and everyone who enjoys talking things through with an owner before driving off in their vehicle. For a one-way trip between two cities or a standardised fleet, look to professional operators instead.
